The Oxford University Greek Society is one of the oldest student-run societies and was funded in 1968. The Society aims to bring together people from all nationalities who relate to or have an interest about the Greek culture, language, traditions, and politics.
Annually, the Society is hosting many Greek themed social events, speaker and discussion events, movie nights, comedy clubs providing the opportunity to our members to meet new people, make friends or expand their academic horizons. We are here to create a support network for new and former students and promote our rich traditional heritage and values.
The Oxford University Greek Society is registered with the University of Oxford and administered by a committee which is elected each Hilary term. Associate committee (ACM) members are welcome to express their interest throughout the year. ACM are directly selected by the core committee members and their main role is to provide support into planning, organizing and setting up events.
